We had previously thought that the 'Simon' signature was Iris Simon, a secretary to Harris Strong for 22 years. But a gentleman at an auction house recently emailed us and believes this may be by well listed Russian artist, Simon Lissim, for Harris Strong. We are currently in the process trying to have this authenticated. We are very excited that this may be a Lissim! This would have been done in the 1970s. Please inquire for updates. Harris Strong moved to Maine in 1970 ish, so this painting would most likely have been done in the late 60s or early 70s.
